Ndeye Fatou Sall, fashion and runway model based in Dakar, Senegal

Ndeye Fatou Sall (aka Bebish Sall) is a professional model and content creator who is passionate about fashion and art in all its forms. Since her debut in 2017, she has had the opportunity to walk the runway at Dakar Fashion Week and collaborated with numerous renowned designers and prestigious brands.

Crowned Miss West Africa International, now Bebish is the founder of Eleganzia Agency, which specializes in event management and costume design. Between fashion shows, photo shoots and artistic collaborations, she embodies a vision of fashion that combines authenticity, elegance and creativity.

How would you describe yourself in a few sentences?

I am a creative and curious individual with a deep passion for fashion and art. As a woman who is open-minded, persevering, and always smiling, I love exploring different worlds — whether in front of the lens or behind the camera.

I thrive on collaborations with photographers, agencies, and brands, adapting quickly to any context, from the runway to everyday life. Beyond my work, I enjoy traveling, discovering new cultures, reading, singing, and dancing.

I also have a soft spot for board games, where I can spend hours developing winning strategies or laughing with friends — all while staying grounded in my faith and serenity.

Did you choose your current niche(s) or did it choose you?

I was first drawn to the world of fashion and runway shows. Over time, collaborations and opportunities led me toward commercial modeling, beauty photography, and editorial work. I therefore see my journey as both a personal choice and a natural evolution of my career.

Today, I specialise in fashion and beauty modeling, as these fields allow me to fully express my creativity while highlighting African elegance and craftsmanship.

My style has been enriched through collaborations with numerous designers, photographers, and brands, as well as through my participation in prestigious events such as Dakar Fashion Week.

With this experience, I now combine my skills in modeling, acting, artistic direction, and content creation to develop a versatile, modern, and authentic style that perfectly reflects my artistic identity.

What's the one achievement or moment in your modelling career that you're most proud of?

My greatest pride remains being crowned Miss West Africa International. This title strengthened my self-confidence and opened up new perspectives for me. I am also proud of my collaborations with designers such as:

What's been the biggest challenge you've faced as a model, and how did you overcome it?

My greatest challenge has been finding my place in this highly competitive and demanding industry. I had to learn to remain perseverant, to work hard, and to always believe in myself despite rejections or criticism. This experience taught me resilience and the importance of never giving up on one’s dreams.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be and why?

I have a deep passion for fashion and place particular importance on supporting local consumption as well as collaborating with the talents of my country. However, I also remain open to partnerships with major brands, whether international or local.

Among those that inspire me are: The Diarra Blue, Neneyayahb, Mathydy, Fulanihb, Chanel, Fenty Beauty, Lacoste, Dior, Fashion Nova, Pretty Little Thing, La Roche-Posay, and Heetch.

In the field of photography, artists such as Mario Testino embody for me the timeless elegance and artistic creativity I aspire to. Collaborating with such brands and personalities would be a true achievement and an opportunity to elevate my career to an international level.

What are your thoughts on the 54Ruum platform?

I find that 54Ruum is an innovative community that showcases African talents and offers them unique visibility on a global scale. It is a wonderful initiative that fosters connection, inspiration and opportunities for collaboration.

How's the photography, art, and modelling space in your country: how has it evolved in recent years?

The photography and art scene in Senegal has evolved significantly in recent years, with increasing professionalisation, more agencies, events, and international collaborations.

Photographers, creatives, and models now have more opportunities to gain visibility and experiment, which helps showcase local talent and inspire the next generation.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering a career in modelling, what would it be?

Believe in yourself, stay disciplined and patient. Modeling is a demanding path, but with perseverance, professionalism, and the right attitude, anything becomes possible.
